Dept. of Revenue Extends the Date of Submission of Form ST-3 from 15 April 2013 to 30 April 2013

[Service Tax Order No. 02 dated 12^th April 2013]

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule(4) of rule 7 of the Service Tax Rules, 1994, the Central Board of Excise & Customs hereby extends the date of submission of the Form ST-3 for the period from 1^st July 2012 to 30th September 2012, from 15^th April, 2013 to 30th April, 2013.

The circumstances of a special nature, which have given rise to this extension of time, are as follows:

“Assessees have represented about difficulties in filing returns. While this aspect is being attended to, there should not be any delay and inconvenience to the assessees.”
