DGFT Withdraws Restriction on Paracetamol Exports – Now Freely Exportable

[DGFT Notification No. 07/2015-2020 dated 28 May 2020]

Effect of this Notification: The Notification No. 50/2015-20 dated 03.03.2020 is further amended to remove restriction on export of Paracetamol APIs, making its export "free" with immediate effect.

Subject:- Amendment in Export Policy of Paracetamol API

S.O. (E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act. 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) as amended, read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020, the Central Government hereby makes following amendment in the Chapter 29 of the Schedule 2 of the ITCHS Export Policy amending the Notification No. 50/2015-20 dated 03.03.2020 related to export Policy of Paracetamol API:
