Exporters to Update Bank Details with New IFSC Codes Due to Merger of Certain
Banks for Refund of IGST and Drawback

by the Air Cargo Complex (Exports) New Delhi on 18 March 2021]
Sub: Updating of Bank Account details of Exporters with
new IFSC code due to merger of certain Banks etc. for IGST refund and Customs
Drawback
Attention of all exporters, Custom Brokers, and all
concerned is invited to the subject cited above.
2. It is to inform that due to merger of certain Banks, a
high incidence of rejection of IGST Scrolls! Customs Drawback Scrolls is being
noticed due to insufficient information/wrong Bank Account number/ invalid
IFSC.
3. It is also pertinent to mention here that error in the
bank account details in respect of single exports could cause failure/
rejection of the entire scroll.
4. In view of the above, the exporters/ beneficiaries are
advised to identify their bank accounts, in those Banks which are under process
of merger, and update their new IFSC codes along with correct bank account
number and to submit AD code letter from the concerned bank through online Bank
management / AD code registration facility provided on ICEGATE website using
the 'modify option".
5. In this regard, Custodian of Export shed of ACC Export
are directed to suitably guide the exporters / beneficiaries to mitigate the
increases risk of scrolls rejection due to merger of banks.
6. In case of any difficulties, Exporters may contact the
