MRP Labelling Must under DGFT Import Policy

· The General notes to Chapter 1 regarding Import Policy of ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import Items 1997-2002 as updated is mandatory to be complied with. It is observed that the same are not fully complied in as much as necessary documents are not uploaded in e-sanchit

· Importers are required to register themselves with appropriate authority under above mentioned Rules.

· Registration certificate under Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011 is required to be obtained and uploaded in e-sanchit.
