MEP of Rs. 500 per kg on Cardamoms Notified

Subject: Amendment in import policy conditions of cardamoms under ITC (HS) 0908 31 of Chapter 09 of ITC (HS), 2012 – Schedule – 1 (Import Policy).

In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of FT (D&R) Act, 1992, read with paragraph 1.3 and 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-2014, the Central Government hereby amends the Import Policy Conditions of Cardamoms under ITC (HS) code 0908 31 of Chapter 09 of ITC (HS), 2012 – Schedule – 1 (Import Policy), as under:

Effect of this Notification

The minimum import price (MIP) of Cardamom with HS code 0908 31 of Chapter 09 of ITC (HS), 2012 – Schedule – 1 (Import Policy) is fixed at Rs.500/- per Kg., with immediate effect.
