Export of Human Embryos/ Gametes/ Gonad Tissues Free subjected to NOC from ICMR

Effect of this Notification: Human Embryos / Gametes/ Gonad tissues are "Free" for export subject to 'No Objection Certificate' from Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).

Subject: Amendment in Export Policy of Human Embryos.

S.O. (E). In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.02 & 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020,the Central Government hereby, amends the export policy of Human Embryos under Chapter 5 of ITC (HS),2018,Schedule -2 (Export Policy)

New entry at Serial No. 49A is inserted in Chapter 5 of Schedule 2 of ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import Items, as under:
