Polymethyl Methacrylate Import Shifted to Prohibited from Free List with effect from 1 Sept 2019

Effect of this Notification: Import Policy of polymethyl methacrylate under Exim code 39169032 of ITC (HS) 2017 — Schedule — 1 (Import Policy) is revised from ‘Free’ to ‘Prohibited’ with effect from 1st September, 2019.

Subject: Amendment of import policy of polymethyl methacrylate under Exim code 39169032 of ITC (HS) 2017 — Schedule — 1 (Import Policy).

S.O. (E): In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of FT (D&R) Act, 1992, read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby amends of import policy of polymethyl methacrylate under Exim code 3916 90 32 of ITC (HS) 2017 — Schedule — 1 (Import Policy) as under:
