HRD Diamond Institute, Mumbai Notified for Certificate/Grading of Diamond of 0.25 Carats and above

Sub: Addition of M/s HRD Diamond Institute Private Limited in paragraph 4.42 of FTP 2015-20.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Para 1.02 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, the Central Government hereby amends the following provisions of FTP 2015-20 :

The following entry is inserted at serial No. (4) in Para 4.42 of FTP 2015-20:

“(4) HRD Diamond Institute Private Limited, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.”

2. Effect of this Notification:

M/s HRD Diamond Institute Private Limited, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India is added as agency permitted to import duty free diamonds for certification/grading and subsequent re-export, subject to conditions mentioned in paragraph 4.75 of Handbook of Procedures 2015-20 and other applicable provisions of the law in this regard.
