DGFT Bans Export of Onion Seeds

Effect of this Notification: The Export of Onion seeds is prohibited, with immediate effect. The provisions under Transitional Arrangement (Para 1.05 of the FTP 2015-20) shall not be applicable under this notification.

Subject: - Amendment in Export Policy of Onions Seeds.

S.O. (E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the Export Policy of Onion seeds for the item description at Serial Number 73 of Chapter 12 of Schedule 2 of lTC (HS) Classification of Export & Import Items, with immediate effect:

2. The provisions as under Para 1.05 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20 regarding transitional arrangement shall not be applicable under this Notification.
