NAFED substituted for MMTC for Copra Import

Effect of this Notification: MMTC has been de-notified as a STE. Henceforth, import of Copra under HS Code 12030000 shall be allowed through NAFED.

Subject: Amendment in Import Policy Condition for de-notifying MMTC as a ST for import of Copra under Chapter 12 of lTC (HS), 2022, Schedule-I (Import Policy).

S.O. (E): In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 and 5 of Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1002, read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, as amended from time to time, the Central Government, hereby amends the Policy Condition of HS Code 12030000 under Chapter 12 of lTC (HS}, 2022, Schedule-I (Import Policy), as under:
