JMDC become Regular EPC

Subject: Inclusion of the Jute Products Development and Export Promotion Council (JPDEPC) in Appendix 2 (List of Export Promotion Councils/ Commodity Boards/ Export Development Authorities) of the Handbook of Procedures Vol.I, 2009-2014.

In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2009-2014, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in Appendix 2 (List of Export Promotion Councils/ Commodity Board) of the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.I, 2009-2014:

2. The following entry is substituted at Sl.No.17 in Appendix 2 of Handbook of Procedures, Vol.I, 2009-2014:

3. RCMC issued by Jute Manufacturers Development Council (JMDC) from 1st April, 2006 till the date of issue of this Public Notice shall remain valid till their expiry.

4. Effect of Public Notice

Earlier, JMDC was issuing RCMC for exporters of jute and jute products. Henceforth, JPDEPC will issue RCMC for exporters of jute and jute products in place of JMDC. Listing of JPDEPC in Appendix 2 of the Handbook of Procedures Vol. I has been done.
