Import of Acetate Tow and filter Rod for Pharma Products of Chapter 30 Allowed

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 16/2011-Cus (N. T.), dated, the 1^st March,2011, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 155 (E), dated the 1^st March,2011, namely:-

In the said notification, in the Table,

(i) against S.No.1, for the entry in column (4), the following shall be substituted, namely:-

“Filter rod, Pharmaceutical products of Chapter 30”

(ii) against S.No.2, for the entry in column (4), the following shall be substituted, namely:-

“Filter cigarette, Pharmaceutical products of Chapter 30”
