Mobile Phones HS Codes for 2% MEIS Amended

· The Ad hoc 2% Announced by Amending Main FTP falls in Two Codes Continue at 2%

· Total MEIS continues at 2+2%

· DGFT has amended the codes for mobile phones as per new system in 1 Jan 2020 in the ITC(HS)

Effect of this Public Notice: The MCIS Schedule, Appendix 38 - Table 2, has been changed to align/harmonize it with the HS Codes as notified vide Notification no. 38 dated 01.01.2020 and to implement the Notification no. 43 dated 29.01.2020.

Subject: Amendments in the Appendix 3B, Table 2 of the Merchandise Exports from India Scheme (MEIS).

In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 1.03 of the Foreign Trade Policy (20 15-2020), the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments in the Appendix 38, Table 2 of MEIS notified vide Public Notice 61 /2015-20 dated 07.03.2017 and as amended from time to time.
