Multi Grain Atta Export Allowed in Atta Export SION under Advance Authorisation Scheme

Effect
of this Public Notice: Note 2 is added in the
SION E-136 to allow export of Multi Grain Atta or Fortified Whole Wheat Atta.
All other conditions for SION E-136 as mentioned in Public Notice no.
38/2015-20 dated 25.11.2022 will continue to be in force.
Subject:-
Amendment in conditions of the Standard Input Output Norms (SION) at E-136 for export
of wheat flour.
In exercise
of the powers conferred under paragraph 1.03 & 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy
(FTP), 2015-2020, as amended from time to time, the Director General of Foreign
Trade hereby makes the following amendments:

the SION E-136 as mentioned in Public Notice no. 38 dated 25.11.2022, note 2
is added as under:

Note 2:
In the SION E-136, items, i.e, Multi Grain Atta or Fortified
Whole Wheat Atta are also allowed to be exported subject to the below mentioned
conditions:
a. Exported item shall contain at least 80% or more
of Whole Wheat Flour (Atta) and other ingredients being added like soya flour, oatmeal,
fenugreek powder, vitamins, etc. will be domestically sourced.
b. Import entitlement of Wheat under the Advance
Authorisation for such export items, i.e. Multi Grain Atta or Fortified Whole Wheat Atta will be calculated
in proportion to the percentage of Whole Wheat Flour (Atta) in the export item,
i.e. for every 1 Kg of Whole Wheat Flour (Atta), import of 1.07 Kg of Wheat will
be allowed.
c. The export description in the shipping bill will
clearly indicate the percentage content of Whole Wheat Flour and other ingredients
being added.
