Vinay Chhabra Appointed DG Safeguards

[Customs Notification No. 91 (Non Tariff) dated 7^th September 2015]

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 3 of the Customs Tariff (Identification and Assessment of Safeguard Duty) Rules, 1997 and in supersession of notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 48/2015 – Customs (N.T.), dated the 25th May, 2015, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary vide number G.S.R. 420 (E), dated the 25th May, 2015, the Central Government hereby appoints Shri Vinay Chhabra as the Director General (Safeguard) for the purposes of the said rules.
