Subject:
Revision in Import Policy for Natural Sand.
In
exercise of powers conferred under Section 3 of the Foreign Trade (Development and
Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 1.3 of the Foreign Trade Policy,
2009-2014, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby makes
the following amendments in Import Policy of Chapter 25 of ITC (HS) 2012,

2. Effect of this
Notification
The
Import Policy of ‘Natural Sands’ is revised. Now, import of sand will be
subject to Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) Order, 2003.
