DGTR Issues PCN Codes for Flat Rolled Stainless Steel Products Anti-dumping Investigation Case

Subject: Anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of Flat Rolled Products of Stainless Steel from China PR, Korea RP, European Union, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, USA, Thailand, South Africa, UAE, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mexico, Vietnam and Malaysia.

This has reference to the subject anti-dumping investigation initiated by the Directorate

General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) on 3^rd July, 2019.

2. After taking views and comments of all the interested parties on the PCN methodology proposed in the initiation notification, it has been decided to adopt the PCN Methodology as under:

Note: The grades specified above at Row 2 are Indian standards. Wherever a product has been exported adopting a specification other than the Indian standards, the equivalent grade of Indian standards should be specified.

For example, consider the following illustrations

1. A Hot Rolled Annealed & Pickled, 202 grade, circle of below 600 mm having a thickness of 0.58 with scotch brite finish shall be specified as 32027132. Further "Scotch brite" may be specified in a separate column

2. A Cold Rolled Annealed & Pickled, 316L grade, strip of below 600 mm having a thickness of 0.8 with 2B finish shall be specified as 4316L31102. Further "2B" may be specified in a separate column.

All the interested parties are required to submit their questionnaire response along with PCN wise information latest by 19^th September, 2019 based on the above methodology.
