IT Hardware TimeLine for Filing PLI Applications Extended till 30 April 2021

Subject: Production Linked Incentive Scheme (PLI) for IT Hardware – Extension of timeline for filing applications

Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has notified the Production Linked Incentive Scheme (PLI) for IT Hardware vide Gazette Notification No. CG- DL-E-03032021-225613 dated March 03, 2021. The Scheme shall extend an incentive of 4% to 2% / 1% on net incremental sales (over base year) of goods manufactured in India and covered under the target segment, to eligible companies, for a period of four (4) years. The Target Segment under PLI for IT Hardware includes (i) Laptops, (ii) Tablets, (iii) All-in-One PCs, and (iv) Servers.

2. As per paragraph 7.1 of the Scheme, the Scheme shall be open for applications till March 31, 2021 initially which may be extended. The Guidelines for implementation / operationalization of the PLI Scheme for IT Hardware are under approval and would be issued shortly.

3. The application portal for the aforesaid Scheme has been made live and applicants can register / apply at https://pliithw.com.

4. The timeline for filing applications under the Production Linked Incentive Scheme (PLI) for IT Hardware has been extended till April 30, 2021. The Scheme shall now be open for filing applications till April 30, 2021.
