PMP and PLI Schemes for White Goods

DPIIT Requests Inputs from Domestic Industry

It is being considered to implement (a). Phased Manufacturing Programs (PMP) and (b). Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Schemes for White Goods: Air Conditioners, Washing Machines, Refrigerators. In this regard there is a need to evaluate domestic industry for white goods for getting benefits of PLI or PMP.

Trade has been requested to provide inputs regarding Production capacity utilization, Total production and Domestic demand of products mentioned above.
