Vinyl Acetate Monomer (Quality Control) Order, 2021 for Compulsory BIS Extended to 29 Feb 2024 from 31 May 2023

S.O. 2334(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do in the public interest, hereby makes the following order further to amend the Vinyl Acetate Monomer (Quality Control) Order, 2021, namely:—

1. Short title and commencement. – (1) This order may be called the Vinyl Acetate Monomer (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2023.

(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Vinyl Acetate Monomer (Quality Control) Order, 2021, in paragraph 1, for sub-paragraph (2), the following sub-paragraph shall be substituted, namely:—

“(2) It shall come into force on the 29th day of February, 2024.”
