TRU Refuses to Implement DGTR Anti-dumping Duty Reccos on Glycine from China Initiated on Complaint of Paras Intermediates and Avid Organics

Subject: Anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of Glycine from China PR

The undersigned is directed to refer to the final findings on the above subject issued vide notification F. No. 6/1 4/2021-DGTR dated the 29th September, 2022, wherein it was recommended to impose anti-dumping duty on imports of Glycine originating in or exported from China PR.

2. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (I) and (5) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, read with rules 18 and 20 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995, the Central Government, after considering the final findings of the designated authority, has decided not to accept the aforesaid recommendations.
