TRU says No to Anti-dumping Duty on DGTR Recco for Injection Moulding Machines from China

Subject: Final Findings- anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of ‘Plastic Processing Machines’ originating in or exported from China PR.

The undersigned is directed to refer to final findings on the above subject issued vide notification F. No. 6/54/2020-DGTR, dated the 16th February, 2022, wherein it was recommended to impose anti-dumping duty on imports of ‘Plastic Processing Machines’ originating in or exported from China PR.

2. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (5) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, read with rules 18 and 23 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995, the Central Government, after considering the aforesaid final findings of the designated authority, has decided not to accept the aforesaid recommendations.
