Tamil Nadu Govt Announces Night Curfew between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. from April 20

Tamil Nadu government announces night curfew between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. from April 20. Private vehicles, public transport, auto rickshaws, taxis will not be allowed during this time.

Complete lockdown on all Sundays across Tamil Nadu. Fish, meat shops, fruits and vegetable shops, theatres, commercial establishments, all shops not allowed to function.

On Sundays, only essential services like milk, newspaper delivery, hospitals, medical services, ambulances, commodity transport, vehicles carrying petrol, diesel to bunks will be allowed.

The cases are going up and basis cm review, the notification has been released. This is applicable from 20.04.2021 morning and until further notice

1.       10pm to 4am night curfew

2.       No private or govt transport, auto, taxi etc.

3.       Transportation, districts, state not allowed between 10pm to 4am time space

4.       Precautions to covid to be followed during travel and advisory is issued to transport dept

5.       Emergencies, rail, airport transport allowed during the curfew period

6.       Milk, news paper, hospitals, medical diagnostics facility, pharmacy, ambulance will continue to operate

7.       Good transportation, LPG, fuel will be allowed during night curfew

8.       Media to operate freely during curfew

9.       Fuel station will operate

10.     Continuous process industries and essential service mfgs shall operate. However employees under night shift shall carry ID or admission letter issued by the employer. Home to office/industry and back to home is allowed

11.     Sunday is a complete lockdown in the state. Essential services will operate

12.     Take aways will operate 6 to 10am, 12 to 3pm and then 6 to 9pm on total lock down days (Sunday)

13.     Swiggy, tomato will operate at the above mentioned time only

14.     Other ecommerce companies shall not operate on Sundays

15.     Continuous process industries and essential goods mfg will stay functional

16.     Curbs on visit to any tourist destination

17.     Telecommunications service providers - min 50% should work from home and the companies shall enable the same

18.     Online classes will continue
