462 Entries Listed - List of Eligible Testing, Inspections, and Certifications
under Trade Regulations, Accreditation & Compliance Enablement

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade
(DGFT) has amended the TRACE
(Trade Assistance for Certification and Testing of Exports) Guidelines
by expanding the list of eligible certifications and tests for financial
assistance.
·
The
amendment adds 45 new
certifications, standards and testing requirements, increasing
the total eligible entries from 418
to 462.
·
The
newly included certifications cover a wide range of sectors, including:
o Shipbuilding and marine equipment (e.g., ABS certification).
o Railway equipment (AAR certification).
o Dairy processing equipment (3-A Sanitary Certification).
o Electrical and electronic products (HKSM, UL, KC, PS Certification).
o Pharmaceuticals and medical devices (WHO-GMP, FDA, CE Marking, Drug Master
File, Drug Establishment Licence, ISO 13485).

Several
international quality and
management system certifications have been included, such as:
o ISO 9001 (Quality Management).
o ISO 14001 (Environmental Management).
o ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 (Food Safety).
o ISO 22716 (Cosmetics GMP).
·
The
revised list also covers food
safety and agricultural certifications, including:
o HACCP.
o BRCGS.
o IFS Certification.
o Rainforest Alliance Certification.
o Fair for Life Fair Trade Certification.
o MSC (Marine Stewardship Council).
o Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP).
o Demeter Biodynamic Certification.
o Naturland Organic Certification.

Additional
export-related certifications and testing requirements included are:
o Pre-Export Verification of Conformity (PVoC).
o Pre-Shipment Inspection Certificate
(PSIC).
o International Phytosanitary Certificate.
o Certificate of Analysis (CoA).
o Ethylene Oxide (EtO)
Residue Testing.
o Burkholderia cepacia Test.

The
amendment also brings within the TRACE scheme several country-specific
certifications required for exports to markets such as the United States, European Union, United
Kingdom, Canada, Australia, China, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Vietnam, Hong
Kong, Chile and the Philippines.

By
broadening the list of eligible certifications and tests, the amendment aims to
help Indian exporters meet
international regulatory and quality requirements, improve
market access, and enhance the global competitiveness of Indian products.
