The International Trade Commission has determined that a US industry is materially injured by reason of imports of steel concrete reinforcing bar from Bulgaria, Egypt, and Vietnam that the Commerce Department found are sold in the United States at less than fair value and subsidized by the governments of Egypt and Vietnam.

As a result of the ITC’s affirmative determinations, Commerce will issue antidumping orders on imports from all three countries and countervailing duty orders on imports from Egypt and Vietnam.

Separately, Commerce determined that imports of van-type trailers and subassemblies from China are being dumped in the US market and subsidized.

Commerce found a dumping margin of 130.86 percent and subsidy rate of 134.75 percent.
