Export of Stone Boulders, Stone Chips and Coal not Allowed thru Golakganj (Assam) Land Customs Station

In exercise of the powers conferred by clauses (b) and (c) of sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Indirect taxes and Customs hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India, No. 63/1994-Customs (N.T) dated the 21st November, 1994, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) vide number S.O. 830 (E), dated the 21st November, 1994, namely: -

In the said notification, in the first proviso, the item (iii) shall be omitted.

[The deleted item (iii) was – “(iii) Golakganj is appointed as a Land Customs Station only for the purpose of export of stone boulders, stone chips and coal from India.”]
