NACIN to Conduct Customs Brokers Exams Online from Year 2019

Subject: Forwarding of received
applications under Regulation 4 of Customs Brokers Licensing regulations, 2018
to National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics, NACIN.
Board has decided that the written examination under
regulation 6 of the Customs Brokers Licensing Regulations, 2018 will be held online from the year 2019 onwards. The online examination will be conducted by National Academy of
Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics (NACIN).
2. Principal Commissioner of Customs or Commissioner of
Customs receiving these applications from the applicants are therefore required
to forward information to NACIN in the format prescribed which is enclosed herewith. As the examination will
be held online, you are requested to issue public notice for candidates
to submit their passport size photographs/ mobile number/ email id at the
earliest. It may be ensured that that no accepted application
is left out in the exercise.
3. You are requested to take
necessary action in this regard in a time-bound manner so that requisite
information is furnished to NACIN latest by 31.12.2018. The same may be accorded priority.
4. Requisite amendments in the Customs
Brokers Licensing Regulations, 2018 will be carried out by the Board.
5. Any difficulties faced may kindly be
referred to the Board.
