One Star Export Houses have to Show Performance only in Two Out of Three Years for Recognition Renewal

·         General rule: Exporters seeking Status Holder recognition must demonstrate export performance in all three preceding financial years.

·         Gems & Jewellery: For the Gems & Jewellery sector, export performance is required in all two preceding financial years.

·         One Star Export House exception: For One Star Export House status, exporters (other than Gems & Jewellery) need export performance in any two of the three preceding financial years.

·         Key takeaway: The provision provides greater flexibility for obtaining One Star Export House status, while maintaining the requirement of continuous export performance for higher status recognition.
