Broken Rice Export Ban – DGFT Extends Period of Export from 15^th Sept. till 30 Sept. 2022

Effect of this Notification: Export of consignments of broken rice (ITC HS Code 1006 40 00) as permissible under Notification No.31 dated 08.09.2022 has been extended till 30th September, 2022.

Subject: - Extension for the period of exports of broken rice (HS code 1006 40 00) from 15th September, 2022 till 30^th September, 2022 as mentioned in Notification No. 31 dt. 08.09.2022.

S.O. (E) The Central Government, in exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20, hereby extends the period for export of broken rice (HS code 1006 40 00) from 15^th September, 2022 till 30.09.2022. All other conditions as contained in Notification o. 31 dated 08.09.2022 remain the same.

The Notification will come into force with immediate effect.

2. The Notification will come into effect from 9th of September, 2022. The provisions as under Para 1.05 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020 regarding transitional arrangement shall not be applicable under this Notification for export of broken rice under HS code 1006 40 00. During the period from 9th September, 2022 till 15th September, 2022 till 30.09.2022 the following consignments of broken rice will be allowed to be exported:
