manufacturer himself, having valid license under Drugs and Cosmetics Act and
Rules.

The following Public
Notice was issued by the Commissioner of Customs (Export), New Customs House,
New Delhi
Subject: Requirement of "No Objection Certificate"
from Central Drug Standard Control Organization for export of Drugs.
Kind attention of the member of Trade/Importers/Exporters is
invited to the notice dated 11.12.2015 and subsequently notice dated 21.03.2018
issued by Central Drug Standard Control
Organization, FDA Bhawan, Kotla
Road, New Delhi regarding requirement of NOC from their office with respect to
shipping Bills from the Port office of Central Drugs Standard Control
Organization for the export consignment wherein it has been decided that NOC
for export consignments to any countries shall not be insisted, if such
shipping bills are filed by the manufacturer himself, having valid license
under Drugs and Cosmetics Act and Rules.
This is
being done to bring ease in the drug regulation practices in India relating to export of drugs, medical devices and cosmetics. All the
stakeholders are however required to comply with the regulatory requirements of
the importing countries as per their specific need.
Difficulties
if any should be brought to the notice of the Commissioner.
