Officers for Sec 17 and Sec 28 of Customs Act Notified

[Customs Notification No. 44 dated 6th July 2011]

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (34) of section 2 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby assigns the functions of the proper officer to the following officers mentioned in column (2) of the Table below, for the purposes of section 17 and section 28 of the said Act, namely:-

4.	Commissioners of Central Excise, Additional Commissioners or Joint Commissioners of Central Excise, Deputy Commissioners or Assistant Commissioners of Central Excise.
