Aviation Gasoline under 27101219 on Free with AU Import through IOC (Policy Condition 5) – Flying Clubs Exempted

Effect of this Notification: Import Policy for Aviation Gasoline is "free".

Subject: Amendment in Import Policy of Aviation Gasoline under Exim Code 27101219 in the ITC (HS) 2017, Schedule-l (lmport Policy).

S.O.(E):In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of FT(D&R)Act,1992, read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, as amended from time to time, the Central Government, hereby amends the import policy and policy conditions of Aviation Gasoline under Exim Code 27101219 in the ITC (HS) 2017,Schedule-l (lmport Policy)as under:

However, Policy Condition (5) will not be applicable for import of Aviation Gasoline by flying clubs who will be responsible for 'safety' norms of the item for the industry.

This issues with the approval of Minister of Commerce &Industry.

Policy Condition (5)

5) Import allowed through IOC subject to para 2.20 of Foreign Trade Policy, except for the companies who have been granted rights for marketing of transportation fuels in terms of Ministry of P&NG's Resolution No. P-23015/1/2001-MKT. Dated 8.3.2002 including HPCL, BPCL & IBP who have been marketing transportation fuels before this date.
