RFID Seals for Exports Deferred further without Time Limit – Electronic Sealing for Deposit and Removal of Goods from Customs Bonded Warehouses

Subject: Electronic Sealing-Deposit in and removal of goods from Customs Bonded Warehouse.

Circular No. 19/2018-Customs dated 18^th June, 2018, provided for RFID-sealing of goods deposited and removed from Customs Bonded Warehouses. The implementation of the said circular was deferred vide Circular-41/2018-Customs dated 30^th October, 2018 to 01^st January, 2019.

2. Board has decided to further defer the implementation of Circular-19/2018. The implementation of the circular thus stands deferred.

3. Difficulties if any may be brought to the notice of the Board.
