Furniture and Fixtures for Hospitals Allowed under EPCG

Effect of this Public Notice: Imports of PUF panels/doors for chilled rooms/cold storages and furniture and fixtures etc. for hospitals are allowed under the EPCG.

Subject: List of capital goods not permitted/permitted for import under the EPCG Scheme.

In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 1.03 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2015-20, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment in Appendix SF (List of Capital Goods not permitted/permitted for import subject to specific conditions under the EPCG Scheme) of the FTP 2015-20, notified vide DGFT's Public Notice No. 47/2015-20 dated 6^th December, 2017:

After Sr. No. l2, the following is added:

13.	Pre-fabricated Polyurethane Foam (PUF) panels/doors	Permitted for use in (i) Chilled Rooms and (ii) Cold Storages set up by the Processing Units for storage of pre-frozen and frozen marine products respectively, meant for exports under the EPCG Scheme.
14.	Furniture and fixtures, flooring materials and furnishing materials	Permitted for hospitals
