Raw Sugar Import under DFIA Allowed without Late Cut under Para 9.02

Effect of Public Notice: Export of white Sugar under DFIA is allowed subject to condition specified in amended para 4.25(c) of FTP

Sub: Amendments in Hand Book of Procedures 2015-2020, related to import of Raw Sugar under DFIA scheme

In exercise of powers conferred under Para 2.04 of the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020, as amended from time to time, the Director General of Foreign Trade, in public interest, makes the following amendments in Hand Book of Procedures 2015-2020 as under:

1. Para 4.54(d) is amended to read as under:

(d) Late cut provisions given in para 9.02 of Hand Book of Procedures are also applicable for DFIA. However, in respect of export of raw sugar under SION E52, 12 months relaxation is provided for imposition of late cut.
