The following Public Notice was issued by the Commissioner of Customs (Export) Jawaharlal Nehru Customs House on 5^th May 2011.

SUB: Monitoring of food import from Japan for radioactive Contamination.

Attention of all Importers/Exporters/CHAs and General Public is invited to the enclosed Ministry`s instructions conveyed vide letter F.No. 450/22/2011-Cus.IV dated 17/03/2011 and 22/03/2011 regarding Monitoring of food import from Japan for radioactive Contamination.

2. All concerned are herby directed to strictly implement the instructions as contained in the above referred Ministry`s letter dated 17.03.2011 and 22.03.2011.

3. The contents of this notice may be brought to the attention of all the constituent members of your Association / Organisation.

4. Any difficulty faced by the trade may be brought to the notice of the undersigned.
