Groundnut Shell and Kernels Import Allowed under HPS Groundnut Kernels SION

Effect of this Public Notice: Under SION E92, import of Groundnut in Shell/Kernels has been allowed.

Subject: Amendment in Standard Input -Output Norms (SION) at S. No. E-92 for export product "Groundnut Kernels"

In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 1.03 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020 as amended from time to time, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes amendments in SION E-92, in the Handbook of Procedure Vol. II and the revised SION E-92 reads as under:

			2	Relevant LDPE/HDPE/ PP Granules	1.05 Kg/Kg content in the export product packaging.
			3	(a) Groundnut in Shell OR (b) Upgraded Groundnut Kernels	1.20 Kg/Kg content in the export product. OR 1.05 Kg/Kg content in the export product

Note:-

If item of export is HPS Groundnut Kernels (roasted and blanched), the import item at S.No. 3(a), i.e, Groundnut in Shell may be allowed as 1.25 Kg/Kg content in the export product or the import item at S.No.3(b), i.e., Upgraded Groundnut Kernels may be allowed as 1.10 Kg/Kg content in the export product.
