Last Date for IGM Detail for Container Movement Extended to 31 August 2011

The following Public Notice was issued by the Commissioner of Customs (Import) Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House on 29th June 2011.

Attention of all the Stake Holders such as Importer / CHAs / Carrier Agents (including Shipping Agents ,Steamer Agents / Console Agents etc.) and all other agencies concerned is invited to the Public Notice No.57/2011 dated 13.04.2011 , Public Notice No.64/2011 dated 21.04.2011, Public Notice No.67/2011 dated 29.04.2011, Public Notice No.79/2011 dated 13.05.2011, Public Notice No.82/2011 dated 30.05.2011 and Public Notice No.88/2011 dated 16.06.2011 wherein CONCOR was given permission to move the containers as per the destination details mentioned in the IGM for movement of containers by rail / road. The said facility was given to CONCOR till 30.06.2011.

2. In view of further request from CONCOR and the fact that the SMTPs are still being filed manually, the facility given under the Public Notice No.88/2011 dated 16.06.2011 is extended till 31.08.2011.
