CBIC Chairman Ramesh Daughter Secures 35th Rank in Civil Services

Aparna Ramesh has Secured All India Rank 35 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2020.

She has her roots in Bengaluru, Karnataka and presently resides in Gurugram, Haryana. She completed her undergraduate degree in Architecture from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur in 2015 and her post graduate degree in Urban Planning from CEPT University, Ahmedabad in 2019. In 2020, she was selected for the prestigious India Smart Cities Fellowship, Smart Cities Mission, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India.

Aparna's father, Mr. S Ramesh was in the Indian Revenue Service and retired as Chairman, CBIC. Her mother, Dr. Gurushree Ramesh has a PhD in English Language Teaching and presently works as an English Language Assessor in Gurugram.

Aparna credits her parents and grandparents for her success in the examination.
