Main Jumbo Customs Exemption Notification 50/30.06.2017 [Updated as on Date] In
exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the
Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) and sub-section (12) of section 3, of Customs
Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), and in supersession of the notification of the
Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.
12/2012 –Customs, dated the 17th March, 2012 published in the
Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 185 (c) dated the 17th
March, 2017, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such
supersession, the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary
in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts the goods of the description
specified in column (3) of the Table below or column (3) of the said Table
read with the relevant List appended hereto, as the case may be, and falling
within the Chapter, heading, sub-heading or tariff item of the First Schedule
to the said Customs Tariff Act, as are specified in the corresponding entry
in column (2) of the said Table, when imported into India, |
