Assignment of Spectrum) Rules, 2026.

Rules
are framed under the Telecommunications Act, 2023.

can submit objections and suggestions within 30 days of the
notification.

eligibility, application process, spectrum charges, and conditions for
administrative spectrum assignment.

Spectrum
allocation will depend on availability, security clearance, and government
approval.

Applicants
must pay a ₹1,000 non-refundable application fee and submit
required technical and operational details.

Rules
specify provisions for renewal, surrender, modification, and cancellation of
spectrum assignments.

Digital
portal will be used for applications, approvals, reporting, and implementation.
·
Spectrum
may be assigned for sectors including defence, law enforcement, disaster
management, broadcasting, transport, scientific research, weather services, and
public safety.
