Subject: Instruction with regard to levy of fees and charges in regulation of food imports.

This has reference to FSSAI's Order No.1-397/FSSAl/lmports/2013 (Part 1) dated 08.11.2017 (copy enclosed) regarding levy of fees and charges in regulation of food imports. In this regard, it is requested to further advise all the Offices/Officials of Customs Department working as Authorised Officers to collect the visual inspection fee from the food importers on Customs Regulated entry points and the same may be deposited/transferred through NEFT/RTGS to the receipt account of the FSSAI, with Details as under:
