Under
the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Automobile and Auto Components
Industry (PLI Auto scheme), there are 4 manufacturing units in the state of Andhra
Pradesh with aggregate investment of ₹1,142.28 crore (as of 30.09.2025). As
on 30.09.2025, country-wide status of PLI Auto scheme is as below

Under
Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for Advanced Chemistry Cell (ACC) Battery
Storage (PLI-ACC), out of total targeted capacity of 50 GWh, 40 GWh ACC capacity
has been awarded to four beneficiary firms. As reported by the beneficiary firms,
1GWhCapacity has been installed, cumulative investment of ₹2,878 crore and
employment generation of 1,118 has been achieved under the scheme, till 31.10.2025.
Both
PLI-Auto and PLI-ACC schemes are pan-India schemes and does not mandate particular
locations for setting up manufacturing units. Companies can choose their preferred
locations based on strategic business needs, infrastructure and resource availability,
ensuring flexibility in establishing facilities across India.
