Solar Cells from
India, Indonesia and Laos under Anti-dumping Plus Anti-Subsidy Duty in US after
Positive Finding by ITC
[ABS News Service/15.10.2026]
The International
Trade Commission determined yesterday that a US industry is materially injured
by reason of imports of crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells, whether or not
assembled into modules, from India, Indonesia and Laos.
The Commerce
Department previously determined these imports are sold in the United States at
less than fair value and subsidized by the governments of India, Indonesia and
Laos.
As a result of
the USITC’s affirmative determinations, Commerce will issue antidumping and countervailing
duty orders on imports of these products from India, Indonesia and Laos.
