The Commerce Department’s International Trade Administration is accepting applications for its new US Resources Management Industry Listing, an online directory intended to help US suppliers reach international buyers.

Companies seeking inclusion in the initial launch should submit complete applications by December 11, 2026. ITA anticipates publication in February 2027, with subsequent applications reviewed on a rolling basis.

The listing will cover water and wastewater treatment; waste management and recycling, including critical minerals recycling; air quality measurement, monitoring and control; monitoring and instrumentation; weather and forecasting and related sectors.

Eligible activities include designing, engineering, manufacturing, constructing, operating, maintaining and supporting resources management solutions.

ITA describes increased visibility, business development and engagement with federal agencies as the directory’s intended benefits.

Applicants must certify that they are not majority-owned or controlled by foreign governments and that their relevant goods or services are of US origin or contain at least 51 percent US content by value.

Required certifications also address export-control and sanctions compliance, sanctions listings, specified charges or convictions within the preceding five years and pending litigation or administrative proceedings involving Commerce. Several certifications extend to subsidiaries and affiliates.

Inclusion does not constitute government endorsement or certification, and the directory is not intended for government procurement.

Prospective applicants should assess the potential marketing value against the work required to substantiate their certifications and maintain their profiles. Buyers must conduct their own due diligence.
