The Commerce
Department on Friday announced its preliminary determinations that oil country
tubular goods from Austria, Taiwan and the United Arab Emirates are being sold
in the US market at less-than-fair value.
Commerce found
dumping margins of 47.21 percent for Austria, 51.19 percent to 54.74 percent for
Taiwan and 61.45 percent to 68.23 percent for the UAE.
Separately, the
International Trade Commission determined Friday there is a reasonable
indication that a US industry is materially injured by reason of imports of
corrugated die-cut cardboard boxes from China, Malaysia and Turkey that are
allegedly sold in the United States at less than fair value and subsidized by
the government of Turkey.
As a result of
the ITC’s affirmative determinations, Commerce will continue its investigations
of the imports
